DIVINE FORCES MEDIA- Consulting Division conducts stress reduction, violence prevention and cultural diversity seminars, workshops, and trainings for the public with non-profit organizations, corporations, and governmental agencies. Our curriculums are designed for participants to establish physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, good character, cultural respect and dignity and a strong foundation rooted in family and community. We inspire questions and insights in our rites of passage programs to assist “at-risk” and formerly incarcerated youth and adults to achieve self-discipline, inner peace, and self-mastery and realization.

We are devoted to implementing programs, trainings and curriculums that stimulate and promote a new state of consciousness; harmony of the mind, body, and spirit; the setting and achievement of goals; and knowledge that empowers individuals, families and communities.

Rites of Passage Education and Cultural Training

Spreading Seeds: Mind, Body, Spirit is a rites of passage training that cultivates, activates, and nurtures innate abilities and gifts of young women and men labeled "at-risk" or in "gangs".  The intention is for participants to experience the beginning stages of a paradigm shift in consciousness, building healthy relationships and to begin to think in the realm of possibilities through an intensive immersion for three months with positive mentoring, mental health counseling and rights of passage programming and training.  Utilizing a holistic approach to education, “gang” intervention, and “racialized gang violence”, Spreading Seeds works on the de-constructing and re-building of the mind, body and spirit of participants through discipline, erudition, consistent mentoring and indigenous rituals. At the culmination of the three month program, participants will journey to Zion in Utah and the Grand Canyon, to experience a final ceremony ending their three month rights of passage training.  Ultimately, the goal is for participants to acquire life skills and knowledge that will enable them to begin to have a better understanding and belief in themselves, resilience; regardless of past choices made, and the holistic discipline to make conscious choices despite chaotic life experiences. 

Through collaborations with Homeboy Industries, Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission, Los Angeles County Probation Department, and a network of educators, artists, community organizers, gang intervention and prevention specialist, yoga and martial arts instructors, mental health workers, business owners and elders, Spreading Seedsrepresents an innovative and active paradigm that builds relationships with various organizations and individuals working towards dignity with “at-risk” and “high-risk” youth and their families living in Los Angeles, California.

Evaluation:
A post and pre-assessment are conducted with participants regarding habits and responses to mock questions and real life situations.  In addition, there will be monthly evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the training and the progress of class participants dealing with life challenges and obstacles pertaining to their experiences with anger, depression, economic obstacles and violence with family, gangs and community. 

Spreading Seeds, a component of the Chrysalis Project, a 501 (c) (3) publicly supported foundation was created in 1993 to provide opportunities for inner-city youth and families to participate in cultural, educational, and community enrichment programs that build confidence through knowledge of self and community.

A Mind-Body-Spirit Training to Reduce Stress in the Workplace

Participants learn practical skills and tools from the disciplines of martial arts-tai chi, yoga and meditation that can be used in the workplace to reduce stress and interrupt negative patterns of thinking and acting. Breathing, meditation and exercise techniques and yoga poses that can be done right in your workplace will help participants navigate their workday with dignity, grace and clarity.
